Which Ab Belt Works Best? Contour Abs? Flexbelt?
You might think that there would be no difference in the effectiveness of all the various ab toners on the market today – the leading brands such as the Contour, the Flex Belt, and Sport Elec all look great, but which one will work the best? Well, here is a real opinion from someone who has experience with them all.
Based on my own experiences buying ab belts, I would forget the Sport Elec right away – I had a look at a friends before I got into using EMS technology myself, and it wasn’t good quality. I tried it on myself, and the EMS pulses seemed very weak, not enough to give my abs a good workout! I knew I wanted to get an ab belt to tone my abs up, I just wasn’t quite sure which one.
I actually ended up buying the contour abs after seeing their infomercial on TV one night – my wife told me not to, but I went ahead and ordered it anyway! I wished I’d listened to her afterwards…it looked great on TV, but it was really slow to ship – the 30 day trial was almost over by the time I got it, and then I started using it and it was uncomfortable and didn’t seem to do much at all, the pulses were weak like the Sport Elec. Three weeks after that, the Contour broke and wouldn’t work at all!
I had a big battle over the next few months to get my money back (Contour kept on charging my credit card every month) – my wife was mad as hell, and I still hadn’t toned up my abs. Then, I decided to do some research online and started reading a whole bunch of reviews and comparisons on ab belts which all recommended the Flex Belt as up to date, high quality and very effective. In fact, as I found out, the Flex is the most up to date ab toner around, and it uses medical grade scientifically proven EMS technology.
So, I took the plunge and ordered the Flex – you have to pay in full up front, but they give you a 60 day ‘trial’ period where you can send it back if you don’t like it, and get a refund. Good news is, I never had to send it back! I’ve found the Flex Belt to be just great, I’ve been using it now for over 6 months every day, sometimes more than once a day, if I remember to wear it on my drive to work. Its worth spending the money though, if you want good quality, and you want results – especially when you realise that the contour abs is actually more expensive than the Flexbelt! I still can’t believe how much more effective my flexbelt is than the contour abs – even my wife keeps trying to steal it off me!
I can highly recommend the flex ab belt – it works the best of all the ab belts I’ve researched and bought, and best of all – my wife is now happy with my toned, firmer abs!
Visit the official FlexBelt site and give it a try on their 60 day trial – you won’t be disappointed with the product or the results.
Here’s a video I found which shows the flexbelt in action:
Note: friends keep on asking me if they can buy the flex belt in stores – the answer is no, they are only sold on the flexbelt website. Don’t cheap out like I tried to with the contour, get the best from the start and avoid all the hassle I had!
